When my friend Tina Gillies asked me to snap some pictures at her fundraiser for The Kadence Legacy Fund, I immediately said yes.
Tina is a retired Afghanistan veteran, who launched The Kadence Legacy Fund in memory of her daughter Kadence Miller who died of cancer in 2024.

The Kadence Legacy Fund does meaningful work helping people with PTSD through professionally trained service dogs.
The event was put on by Funny Fundraising, which offers a unique way to raise funds for your cause - with laughter. Check them out!
My goal at events like this is simple: blend in and capture everything as it unfolds.
The best photos always come from being in the right place at the right time—listening, watching, and anticipating the moment before it happens.
If you’re planning a fundraiser, gala, networking event, or corporate function and want photos that capture the soul of the event—not just the schedule—I would love to help.
